- Starting salary from £27,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

Business Support Analyst – Salary starting from £27,000.

Aviva are looking for a Business Support Analyst to join their Investment Operations team in York, where the work that we do is critical for our customers funds and futures. You will be ensuring prices are accurately calculated and delivered in line with SLAs and that prices are distributed so that our customers can see the value and transact with their pension accordingly.
Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in York.
A bit about the job:
Investment Operations are part of the Aviva Finance Operations shared service. The unit-linked life and pensions customers of our Life business rely on Investment Operations to ensure that their life and pension premiums are invested in the funds they have selected, that their unit holdings are valued accurately and that they can access their investments when they choose. We are also responsible for validating and reporting the value of investment assets to Group Finance and to the Regulator and ensuring that the methods we use to do so are robust.
The Unit Pricing Business Support team are responsible for supporting the systems and users in the pricing and accounting of c£100bn of investments in c600 Unit Linked funds and delivering change in an accurate and timely manner. Daily, thousands of securities need to be independently validated, thousands of unit prices calculated which are used by administration teams to support our customers.
We will be reactive of the everchanging markets in real time, which means we will be looking for individuals who are flexible to meet the demands of each day appropriately, whilst always striving for ways to improve processes and remove waste.
