      Business Support Intern – Summer 2024


      Job Description:


      This position is a 10-week internship program that will start June 3rd through August 9th.


      This will be a hybrid opportunity located in/near any of our operating centers. Orlando FL / Jacksonville FL / Atlanta GA or Charlotte NC. Our expectation is for candidates to work onsite 2 to 3 days a week.


      The wage range for this position is $21.00 to $24.00, dependent on skills and experience.


      The Business Support Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that various departments and functions can focus on their core tasks by:

      • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand, develop/build and test requirement for existing and new functionality in support of the company’s proprietary core, operational, billing, information systems and reporting applications (POInTS, PROLink, Center Ops, My Account, JNS, etc.)

      • Collaborating with peers and SMEs via professional communication channels.

      • Troubleshooting and resolving issues by providing user support and act as a general resource for a variety of company requests.

      • Partnering with developers, system administrators, instructional designers, and SMEs to translate technical data and procedures into well thought out, comprehensive requirements documents/tickets.

      • Performing gap analysis and define best practices to ensure solutions meet business needs.

      • Assisting in creating, editing, and maintaining technical/user documentation, procedural documentation and/or user application guides.

      • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify key success metrics, project scope and project timelines to allow for effective development and delivery of requirement documentation for existing and new functionality.

      • Extracting and analyzing data.

      • Helping identify and implement automation opportunities within our DevOps process.

      • Performing other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.

      Qualifications:

      • Junior or Senior majoring in Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science or related majors

      • An exceptional understanding of process/task analysis

      • Familiarity with DevOps and cloud computing

      • Good problem-solving skills

      • Knowledge of change management processes and/or application system life cycle/support functions

      • Excellent advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

      • Problem resolution skills & analytical skills

      • Organization and project management acumen

      • Be a self-starter and independent learner

      • Detail orientated

      • Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B)
