  Job Description

  The “Business System Analyst ” will be based in Coimbatore , reporting to

  Senior Manager .

  What a typical day looks like:

  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Work with SQL / Oracle databases to analyze financial data and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Support finance teams in understanding and leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment activities.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.

  The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Developer in a finance-related projects.
  • Strong expertise in SQL (MySQL, SQL Server) and/or Oracle databases.
  • Experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and database management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and business processes.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
