Job Description

- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Work with SQL / Oracle databases to analyze financial data and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Support finance teams in understanding and leveraging data for decision-making.
- Participate in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment activities.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Developer in a finance-related projects.
- Strong expertise in SQL (MySQL, SQL Server) and/or Oracle databases.
- Experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and database management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and business processes.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
