What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and define system requirements to support software products in the clinical genetics domain
- Oversee software enhancements throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Communicate technical and functional requirements with stakeholders and users, creating detailed Jira tickets
- Collaborate with Technical Leads to develop solutions that meet business logic and operational feasibility
- Provide technical support to EMR/EHR clients and troubleshoot issues as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical Business Systems Analyst
- Experience with EMR/EHR integration, particularly with Epic systems
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence for project management
- Strong understanding of SDLC, AGILE, and SCRUM methodologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the healthcare or biotech industry
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, CCD, and X12 data exchange standards
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and HITECH
- Experience with data mapping and ETL integration tools
- Understanding of API and system integrations in healthcare environments
