      Business Systems Analyst
      Whippany, NJ

      As a Barclays Business Systems Analyst, you will provide leadership, governance and oversight for all portfolio change activity within Apply technical team at Barclays USA. The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring high quality transformational change reaches the production platform on time, within budget and to the required quality criteria. You will deliver significant business outcomes, business goals and have both Business & Technology focus.

      What will you be doing?

      • Taking responsibility for organizing and scheduling project team meetings
      • Gathering business, system, and functional requirements by conducting detailed interviews with business users, stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
      • Coordinating overall project documentation across all bank functions including requirements, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, weekly status reports, etc
      • Creating and updating project plan; tracking upcoming deliverables and ensuring completion of project milestones and tasks
      • Being responsible for the delivery of projects on-time, within budget and with quality
      • Performing daily administrative tasks including time management, training
      • Ensuring projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, and that objectives conform to line of business' overall standards, operations objectives
      • Being responsible for learning basic functionality of the application stack to be able to participate in requirement and design conversations

      What we’re looking for:

      • Several years of project management and Business Analyst experience, supporting clients
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to facilitate cross-functional cooperation across senior stakeholders
      • Extensive experience of working in Agile methodology ideally within financial services with compliance or financial crime
      • Deep practical knowledge and understanding of business analysis tools including JIRA and Confluence

      Skills that will help you in the role:

      • Professional Business Analysis certifications desirable
      • Professional Agile certifications desirable
      • Technology / Computer Science background desirable
