Work cross-departmentally to gain insights into opportunities for improvement and work with the Business Transformation team to translate those into actionable projects
Ability to understand and synthesize complex business challenges and operations
Rethink and redesign processes for various functions, including but not limited to accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit, operations, human resources, and legal
Execute process project plans, including timelines and milestones
Ensure all stakeholders are kept well informed
Execute enterprise change management plans including facilitating stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, business readiness assessments, communications, and training development
Preparation of current state process flows and catalogs to assist in the identification of inefficiencies and pain points
Preparation of future state process flows and related training content to ensure proper adoption of new processes
Analysis of policies and procedures and control matrices for enterprise-wide standardization and rationalization
Ability to effectively execute with a large amount of creativity and latitude
Understand project objectives, assist in developing task requirements from those objectives, and execute tasks as assigned
Prioritize and execute assignments meeting critical and established deadlines
Manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers
Other projects and duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
Minimum of 3 years of progressive operational process transformation experience, preferably with a nationally recognized consulting or Big 4 public accounting firm
Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
Superb writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate concepts and create well-structured messages
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Self-starter and highly motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; Ability to manage multiple assignments ant transactions simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment
Master’s in business administration or CPA designation
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience in large-scale strategic/process transformation and/or enterprise system implementation team
Experience in training development tools (i.e., iorad)
Purpose and Job Summary
ORIX USA is looking to hire a Business Transformation Associate in our Dallas, Texas office. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the execution of various transformation projects. In this position, the experienced professional will be expected to understand complex business concepts and coordinate with the Business Transformation, Line of Business (LOB) teams, and Executive leadership to rethink and redesign key processes while ensuring consistency with the company strategy and objectives.
