- Drive the development of the operating strategy and roadmap for the Asset Management business to support future growth opportunities, and operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify and prioritise initiatives and projects based on their potential business impact, feasibility, and alignment with the business strategy
- Drive and optimise organisational design and development activities including implementation and delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of key transformation initiatives across the business
- Analyse operating model designs and identify and deliver areas for enhancement
- Track record of delivering large-scale initiatives from concept to implementation with measurable positive outcomes within the financial services industry, ideally in asset management
- Strong understanding of global financial markets, regulatory environments, and industry best practices
- Experience in consulting, strategy, and change management
- Strategic thinker and self-starter comfortable taking the lead on initiatives with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed global organisations
- Comfortable leading, influencing and collaborating with senior management
- Demonstrated strong analytical, delivery and execution, and organisational skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Role title: Business Transformation Director

The Role:
The Business Transformation Director will report to the COO of M&G Asset Management.
To enable the Asset Management business to deliver its business ambition, we are establishing a new team to lead on its transformation initiatives. As Business Transformation Director, you will identify, develop, and lead on the operating strategy for the asset management business, operating model design, and transformation programme delivery. The role will also lead on internal consulting-type activities within the organisation. The team will ensure that the business can operate efficiently at scale by building and embedding scalable processes for key strategic business activities, driving effective prioritisation efforts, and cultivate coordinated, unified action across teams.
The team will engage and lead cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide initiatives across the Asset Management business. This newly built role will leverage your talent to think ambitiously about prioritised strategic business initiatives, and our future state, and build plans to enable it. You will be working with stakeholders across the asset management business, including the executive leadership team, to craft and execute our business transformation strategic agenda.
