What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform outreach to members via phone to support care plan next steps and address questions or concerns
- Serve as the front-line support for various member and provider inquiries, explaining procedures and protocols
- Document and maintain non-clinical member records in compliance with state and regulatory requirements
- Support member onboarding and send out welcome letters and educational materials
- Connect members to health plan and community resources to ensure high-quality care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED
- Requires 1 – 2 years of related experience in a healthcare or customer service setting
- Knowledge of existing benefits and resources to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with members and providers
- Ability to comply with all policies and standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in care management or administrative support in healthcare
- Familiarity with health plan activities and resources
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
