      Introduction:

      The role holder will be a member of the Technology, Security & Resilience (TSR) Team Barclays Internal Audit portfolio in Pune. Work collaboratively with others across BIA, while developing strong client relationships which are independent and be seen as a respected voice. Support delivery of BIA Audit Plan.

      The role holder will be responsible to conduct/lead audits related to Technology Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Resilience along with providing technical insight and a detailed understanding of risks on these topics.

      What will you be doing?

      • Coordinate and execute audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT infrastructure technology controls in accordance with Barclays internal audit framework;
      • Perform process walkthroughs independently, identify key risks and validate effectiveness of key controls, perform audit testing (using data analytics as appropriate), and collect evidence to demonstrate that these are working effectively;
      • Agree gaps identified with stakeholders for factual accuracy;
      • Articulate high quality audit observations and audit report;
      • Update the Audit Owner and audit team with progress and observations;
      • Effectively manages internal and Sprint meetings with stakeholders.
      • Perform issues validation test procedures;
      • Promote a culture of efficiency through the use Agile and Automated Auditing techniques;
      • Be conversant with all Barclays Enterprise Wide Risks, including Operational, IT, vendor management etc;
      • Able to execute audits using Agile methodology.
      • Participate and perform continuous monitoring for the assigned technology area;
      • Particiapte and support in risk assessment for Auditable entity;
      • Provide complete, accurate and timely information for BIA reporting.

      What We’re Looking For

      • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in technology or information security areas.
      • Technical and management experience (operational leadership or within an audit /control function) covering Technology Infrastructure, Cyber Security or Resilience. With experience of one or more of the following areas: cloud technologies, Unix/Linux, Windows, Databases, Middleware storage technologies or Networks. Additionally, ITIL service management processes including Incident, Problem and Change, Data Backup and Recovery.
      • Have a strong knowledge of risk and controls with respect to general IT controls.
      • Knowledge of new and emerging technology, cyber security, and resilience risks and mitigating controls.
      • Well versed with Agile methodology.
      • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, TOGAF or other relevant technical qualification; and graduate degree).
      • Good understanding of relevant regulatory environment.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to senior technical specialists and senior non-technical individuals.

      Skills that will help you in the role:

      • Knowledge of Banking and Financial services industry.
      • Good understanding of Banking and Financial regulatory frameworks (e.g. FCA, PRA, SOX, MAS, BASEL)
      • Knowledge about new and emerging financial products and services.
      • Knowledge of application control auditing, cyber-security, cloud computing, etc., will be an advantage
      • Proven ability to deliver timely, high quality analytical work in a relatively unsupervised environment.
