What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead coding efforts for a distributed control system using various programming languages (C++, Python)
- Oversee the development and delivery of mid to large-scale software projects
- Ensure performance and scalability through refactoring and unit testing
- Configure operating systems and bring up hardware for multi-threaded applications
- Guide the team in socket programming and network client/server configurations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a BS in Computer Science or related engineering/science field; MS or Ph.D. is a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in a technical development role
- Strong experience with C++ and Python programming
- Proven experience in multi-threaded application development and unit testing
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based development environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with freeRTOS and Embedded Linux customization
- Familiarity with SoC platforms and CPU performance monitoring
- Knowledge of test-driven development and ARM architecture
- Experience with JTAG programming and Xilinx SoC platform
- Proficiency in gtest and gmock frameworks
