      Role and Responsibilities

      This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree

      Internship date: May 6 2024 to August 23 2024

      The role we are offering you:

      By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the preparation and integration of simulation software and virtual environment of our state-of-the-art flight simulators such as business jets and prototypes; CRJ900NG, Cessna Citation XLS +, C919, Global 7500, Dash 8, Embraer E2, Phenom 100/300, MRJ, etc.

      Are you ready to:

      • Perform functionality tests on various aircraft systems in simulators

      • Create / improve scripts to optimize the work environment in labs and on our simulator test sites

      • Perform various software maintenance and configuration control tasks using the GIT Source Manager

      • Participate in SCRUM meetings with the various engineering teams

      • Use JIRA to track software development and integration tasks

      Our ideal candidate has:

      • 2nd or 3rd intern in computer science, computer engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering

      • Knowledge of C, C ++ languages in a Linux and Windows environment

      • Knowledge of programming languages such as batch, ANT, XML, Perl scripts

      • Microsoft development tools for Windows platform (Visual Studio 6.0 and higher)

      • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to diagnose and solve problems

      • Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills

      • Bilingualism (French and English)

      Location of the internship is CAE Montréal.

      Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

      *All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

      *Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
