- Act as a strategic contractual and property leader, providing guidance to the business unit, to compliantly achieve company and customer objectives.
- Provide advice on risks, liabilities, and obligations; devise, recommend and implement creative and innovative solutions and negotiation strategies. Lead the navigation of complex contractual issues; develop productive relationships with customer counterparts.
- Abide by the highest ethical standards for personal conduct and provide the requisite leadership to ensure compliance with Northrop Grumman ethical standards and requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 plus years of relevant professional experience to include: in-depth understanding of Government acquisition policies, regulations and proposal compliance requirements or a Master's Degree and 8 plus years of relevant professional experience to include: in-depth understanding of Government acquisition policies, regulations and proposal compliance requirements.
- Senior level knowledge in understanding and interpreting the FAR/DFARs and other U.S. Federal Government contract regulations.
- Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal and external customers.
- Superior ability to apply functional experience and strategy to create effective contractual solutions.
- Able and willing to travel (including international travel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
- Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures.
- Extensive negotiation experience, to include incentive fee arrangements.
- Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
- Experience with international contracts and offsets

The C4 Business Unit delivers innovative Battle Management mission capabilities extending into adjacent missions, arenas, customers and is a global leader in Advanced Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Management Systems.
This position will report to the GBMR Division Contracts and Property Director 1. The ideal candidate for this position will be in co-located with the leadership team in Huntsville, AL. Candidates may also be considered in Linthicum, MD or McLean, VA with 25% travel to Huntsville. If circumstances warrant, other Northrop Grumman Defense Sector facilities may be considered.
