- Follow job instructions meticulously, inspect your work for quality, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform edge sanding using an orbital sander on doors and headers.
- Inspect and repair loose components as needed.
- Catch panels off the panel sander.
- Hang components onto the paint line.
- Install hinges onto doors.
- Measure components, match order forms with products, and install various components such as shelves and roll tray tracks.
- Screw in roll tray tracks, hang doors, and install drawers.
- Package finished cabinets into cardboard boxes.
- Quickly remove stain from each component, ensuring to go with the grain of the wood.
- Remove excess glaze from components, allowing glaze to remain in natural areas.
- Sand components with the grain, selecting appropriate sandpaper based on wood or stain type.
- General labor experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- Experience in production environments.
- Basic knowledge of cabinetry and woodworking.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Pass a tape measure test.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and keeping up with training requirements.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a large manufacturing facility with approximately 300 employees. Some areas can be loud, so safety glasses and ear protection are provided. The standard work hours are from 7am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and clothing free of offensive imagery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, South Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
