Job Description

- Develop precise architectural drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software.
- Interpret and translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to refine designs and resolve design-related issues.
- Prepare documentation, including blueprints, construction details, and as-built drawings.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on project modifications or client feedback.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data and verify dimensions when required.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation to support project development.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of at least 3 years of experience in architectural drafting or design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other industry-standard CAD software.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and materials.
- Knowledge of US building codes and regulations is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building practices is preferred but not required.
