      ABOUT YOU:
      As a CAD Designer, you will work directly with the ID and Engineering team to translate sketches and concepts into production ready 3D surface models. We are looking for someone with a background in advanced surfacing for consumer products and an interest in mountain bikes. This role is based at our headquarters in Santa Cruz, California with the rest of the Design and Engineering team.

      WHAT DOES YOUR DAY JOB LOOK LIKE?

      • Develop CAD models for new, best-in-class bicycle frames, e-bikes, components, and accessories

      • Design class A surfaces using Creo to create visually compelling and refined products

      • Translate 2D concepts into 3D models

      • Create dimensioned and toleranced 2D drawings

      • Implement best practices and improved templates to improve Creo process, technique and workflow throughout the entire Engineering team

      • Complete project work on schedule

      • Balance functional requirements from the ENG team with aesthetic goals of the Industrial Design team

      • Travel up to four weeks per year


      WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

      • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or CAD Technologies

      • 2+ years working as a CAD Designer in Creo

      • Advanced 3D surfacing skills using Creo

      • Advanced assembly skills using Creo

      • Experience in the consumer products, preferred bicycle or outdoor industry

      • Ability to work with other members of the design team and implement feedback into 3D surfaces

      LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

      SALARY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $75,000 - $110,000.
