  The Purpose:

  Our CAD Detailer is responsible for the development of floorplan drawings for display and exhibit usage. This position requires constant communication with other departments and team members. As an integral part of the fabrication team the CAD Detailer may be asked to support conceptual design, mechanical design, account teams, and installations.

  The Job:

  • Responsible for the development of floor/space plan drawings for display and exhibit usage.
  • Creating tradeshow/exhibit construction documents.
  • Work directly with carpenters and other shop personnel to produce custom built exhibit components.
  • Rigging, electrical, setup instructions and other drawings are to be produced.
  • Support conceptual design, mechanical design, account teams, and installations.

  The Person:

  • Industrial Design and/or Architectural experience desired
  • Expert competency with latest version of AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
  • Experience utilizing Autodesk Inventor and/or Rhino (preferred, not required)
  • Commercial Cabinetry experience (major plus)
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • High school graduation (advanced degree preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced technical proficiency
