The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Water Electrical CAD Technician. The CAD Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs under close supervision.

What You'll Do

Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Water department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work well within a team.

What We Expect from You

• Two-year technical degree or two-year technician or three-year technologist diploma
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD (beyond AutoCAD LT) and Microstations is required. Candidates should be experienced with advanced AutoCAD commands and features.
• Familiarity with various versions of AutoCAD, including AutoCAD Electrical and the latest releases, is essential.
• Knowledge of instrumentation control design is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and software is a plus.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Knowledge of electrical, P&ID and tender specification design would be beneficial.
• Good organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Must have permanent authorization to work in Canada or USA
