- Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs.
- Work under the guidance of our Engineers and Designers on engineering projects; and
- Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets, with detailed supervision.

- Limited experience or a keen interest in drafting and design in the civil and structural space.
- An ability to gain and apply knowledge of engineering drawing techniques and CAD packages.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel).
- Good interpersonal skills, strong digital skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- An ability to problem solve and manage your time effectively.
- Diploma of Engineering Technical (completed or undertaking), and/or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (completed or undertaking) and/or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (completed or undertaking)
About the role
Our Albany Community Development team is looking for Cadet Civil/Structural Drafter where you will work with experienced engineers, designers and drafters to deliver dynamic drafting solutions in a variety of engineering projects.
Although no previous experience is required, we are on the hunt for passionate people who enjoy modelling and drafting and can demonstrate a commitment to continued learning.
