      Job Summary:

      We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD/PDM Drafter & Configuration Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and managing the configurations of various surveillance gimbal systems. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a strong background in drafting, and must have significant experience with SolidWorks, particularly in SolidWorks EPDM (Enterprise PDM) data management. Experience with SAP is preferred.

      Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

      Drafting and Documentation:

      • Create detailed technical drawings and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.

      • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design specifications and translate them into accurate drawings.

      • Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

      Configuration Management:

      • Manage the configuration of three different product lines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) creating Engineering Change Notices (ECN) as required.

      • Follow established configuration management processes to track changes and updates to product designs.

      • Utilize SolidWorks EPDM for effective data management and version control.

      SAP Integration:

      • Leverage experience with SAP for seamless integration with configuration management processes.

      • Utilize SAP for tracking and managing product data and configurations.

      Collaboration:

      • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and product changes.

      • Communicate effectively with team members to address configuration management issues and provide timely solutions.

      Job Qualifications:

      • Degree or Certificate in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field preferred.

      • Proven experience as a Drafter & Configuration Administrator for 2+ years required.

      • Must have experience with SolidWorks, especially in SolidWorks EPDM data management.

      • Experience with SAP is preferred.

      • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.

      • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

      • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

      • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
