      Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Host who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do!

      By nature of the position, the position is the guests’ first impression of the restaurant and bar. They greet guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact and a smile. Utilizing Open Table, the individual takes reservations, reviews the daily reservation book and has the ability to seat guests with/without reservations. They have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for that day. A principle role within the restaurant and bar, the Host is familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity. The Host is also familiar with frequent guests and knows their names and preferences.

      Job Requirements

      We are looking for individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required. The Host requires continuous standing for the majority of the shift. The ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request! The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Smart Serve certification is a must.

      Preferred qualifications & skills

      • At minimum 1 year previous Host experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation

      • Exceptional communication skills and command of English language

      • Additional language a definite asset for career growth

      • Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field.
