Calibration and Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description
- Req#: 7623
- Plan and perform annual requalification testing of assemblies for internal and external customers
- Maintain and develop the plant’s calibration system to ensure compliance and operational readiness
- Conduct precise measurements and tests in line with project timelines and specifications
- Provide statistical support in problem-solving activities and investigations
- Analyse and report on assemblies or component parts, including warranty parts from key markets
- Prepare detailed test and analysis reports using standardized templates
- Maintain and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to calibration and testing
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies (e.g., quality, health & safety, environment)
- Support additional quality or testing-related projects as needed
- HNC or equivalent in Quality, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in calibration and testing roles
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Skilled in statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques (Six Sigma knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with calibration systems and test equipment (e.g., UTS machines, Denison, SPS units)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general PC skills
- Capable of working methodically and independently with strong analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to clearly present technical information
- Proactive, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
