      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate day-to-day activities of the California Salmon and Steelhead Coalition, including meeting scheduling and logistics
      - Attend and facilitate discussions at meetings and calls, including regular weekly sessions
      - Manage and participate in Coalition staff retreats three times a year
      - Draft and update work plans, and track deadlines, deliverables, and progress on grant proposals and fundraising
      - Provide policy and communications support as needed, contributing to legislative and agency interactions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in conservation issues
      - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and stakeholders
      - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      - Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in environmental policy advocacy or project management
      - Familiarity with grant writing and reporting processes
      - Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
      - Strong motivation and enthusiasm for conservation work
      - Willingness to travel within the northern California region
