What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high quality customer service assistance for inquiries related to I-PASS electronic tolling accounts, violations notices, billing issues, technical issues, and general map questions
- Ensure speedy resolution of inquiries by utilizing all available resources
- Adhere to privacy regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Illinois Tollway regulations and policies
- Update customer accounts accurately and maintain documentation of phone inquiries
- Process credit card payments and make recommendations based on customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clear and professional English communication skills
- 1 to 2 years of call center experience preferred
- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
- Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate multiple data screens
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
- Successful completion of all assessments or tests associated with the position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Additional years of call center or customer service experience
- Proficiency in typing with a higher speed and accuracy
- Advanced computer skills and experience with various software systems
- Strong problem-solving and data gathering abilities
