- Handle a high volume of incoming calls efficiently and courteously
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments for gynecological services quickly and accurately
- Provider clear and precise information regarding services, procedures, and policies
- Triage patient inquiries effectively and direct them to the appropriate provider/staff member
- Manage and update patient records in EPIC
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and escalate issues as necessary
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Work collaboratively with health-care providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or health-care related experience preferred
- Proven experience in a high-volume call center, customer service, or health-care setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EPIC is preferred
- Ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Bilingual abilities are an asset but not required
