Job Responsibilities:

- Greet callers with kindness, compassion, and understanding, even in distressing situations.
- Ask questions, analyze caller's situation, and provide appropriate direction.
- Go above and beyond to assist callers with their needs.
- Handle an average of 120-150 calls per shift, ranging from connecting callers to inpatient rooms to executing emergency plans.
- Think critically and act swiftly when managing the emergency line.
- Navigate various on-call schedules to facilitate urgent medical communication between physicians and patients.

Requirements:

- Minimum Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Preferred one year of experience in a medical, call center, or customer service environment.

Work Schedule:

- Hybrid remote opportunity in the Madison, WI area.
- 1st shift: Hourly part-time, 24 hours a week. Rotates every THIRD weekend. Hours available are 6:45 am - 3:15 pm.
- 2nd shift: Hourly part-time, 24 hours a week. Rotates every THIRD weekend. Hours available are 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm.
- 3rd shift: 100% on-site!!! Hourly full-time, 4-5 day rotation that shifts every week. Includes every THIRD weekend.

Pay:

- Competitive starting pay range of $19.42 - $26.29 per hour.
- Additional compensation for working evenings and weekends.
