      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Communicate with patients and staff using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, emails, faxes, or mail
      - Answer and resolve patient inquiries in a professional, empathetic, and patient-centered way
      - Utilize established practice guidelines to ensure timely resolution of patient issues, transferring calls when necessary
      - Schedule and reschedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system
      - Provide accurate and detailed information and update patients' records using various management information systems
      - Send detailed appointment confirmations to patients, including directions and instructions
      - Follow up with patients after visits to confirm understanding and compliance with care plans
      - Process referrals and coordinate with insurance companies for prior authorizations
      - Identify opportunities to improve work processes and environment and stay updated on new developments in healthcare
      - Attend training sessions and assist in training/orientation of new personnel

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma/GED required
      - Training or experience in a relevant healthcare field
      - Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to explain healthcare issues to patients
      - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
      - Comfortable using multiple advanced communication tools
      - Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
      - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
