What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and assist members with inquiries, resolving requests promptly and professionally
- Promote and deliver a full range of credit union products and services, explaining their features and benefits
- Process member requests such as account transfers, loan payments, and debit card orders
- Stay updated on credit union policies, procedures, products, and services
- Maintain monthly/weekly call volume as established by the manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in a financial institution as a teller or member services representative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform minor math calculations with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role within the financial industry
- Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the financial sector
- Demonstrated ability to work in high-traffic positions with heavy workloads while maintaining a professional attitude
