What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to a high volume of inbound client/customer requests and inquiries, providing necessary information and processing updates
- Research and resolve complex customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring effective communication with internal departments
- Document customer interactions accurately in the appropriate systems
- Serve as a mentor and resource for new hires within the team
- Participate in departmental projects and provide backup during peak processing times
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 – 6 years of related experience in a customer service or support role
- Strong understanding of business rules, products, and procedures relevant to client interactions
- Ability to gather information and make decisions focused on first call resolution
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role within the employee benefits or wellness industry
- Familiarity with administrative processing and handling escalations
- Strong mentoring skills and experience training new team members
