What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Place and receive calls to/from patients to collect payment for medical expenses
- Gather and document demographic, insurance, and other relevant information from patients
- Provide solutions and negotiate repayment terms that meet the needs of clients and patients
- Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and available repayment programs
- Follow department processes to ensure compliance with industry laws and regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Minimum of 1 year of experience contributing to a team culture of learning and growth
- Basic understanding of contact center processes and techniques
- Exposure to collections industry, healthcare revenue cycle, and medical insurance and billing processes preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with collections industry terminology and practices
- Strong active listening skills and ability to manage upset patients
- Experience using technology platforms for documentation and research
