      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding scheduling appointments, referrals, and maintaining patient demographics
      - Respond to inquiries from members and providers about insurance benefits, eligibility, and coverage details
      - Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and act as an advocate in interactions with practitioners and employer groups
      - Participate in outreach events, including health fairs and enrollment fairs, to promote services and engage with the community
      - Conduct research on inquiries and special projects, ensuring accurate benefit interpretation and timely responses

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma with one to three years of office/business experience; call center experience preferred
      - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
      - Proficiency in organizing, creating, sorting, and analyzing reports using tools like Excel and Access
      - Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies such as DRG and Fee schedule
      - Ability to meet departmental metrics and attendance guidelines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in claims processing within managed care environments
      - Knowledge of customer service best practices in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other database tools for report generation and communication
