What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming patient calls and provide medical advice within the scope of the role
- Schedule patient appointments and refill medications according to protocols
- Process lab results and update patient records accurately
- Facilitate office quality/performance incentive initiatives
- Work within RN or LPN licensure scope as outlined in the Clinical Support Staff Scope of Practice document
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree/graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing 2-year program
- Valid, unrestricted RN license in the State of Michigan
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical or physician office
- Proficiency in medical terminology and written clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
