      Your New Role…

      Create is the branded content studio for CNN International. We tell authentic stories that inspire and engage our audience. Through a data-informed process we deliver award-winning, relevant content to our audience of influential decision makers.

      The Camera/Editor Intern will support the delivery of award-winning film and digital branded content for clients of CNN International globally.

      The Camera/Editor Intern primary responsibility is assisting the Senior Camera Operator & Editor.

      Your Role Accountabilities…

      • Attend production and pitch briefings to understand the post-production and camera/cinematography requirements for projects.
      • Support Senior Camera Operator/Editor in the filming and editing of Create’s flagship campaigns.
      • Manage department camera, sound, lighting kit with detailed equipment list and check in and out system.
      • Data Wrangle and manage duplication, and safe delivery of rushes.
      • Backing up files to server.
      • Support in transporting equipment internationally.
      • Test, clean, prepare, weigh, pack camera, sound, lighting and gimble kit ready for deployment on shoots.
      • Support with kit lists and equipment Carnets.
      • Support team of editors in file management and data backups.
      • Support in edit assistant capacity using Premiere Pro.

      Qualifications & Experience…

      • You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.
      • Knowledge and interest in how filming and editing equipment works.
      • Experienced use of Premiere Pro.
      • Strong eye for composition and filming and post production hardware technical abilities.
      • A strong interest in film, documentary, commercials and branded content.
      • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time.
      • Strong communication skills and can demonstrate emotional intelligence when building relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients.
      • Detail orientated approach to organisation and file delivery.
      • Broad Knowledge in and experience of Cameras, Lenses and Colour Grading is a plus.

      The Internship...

      • Salary: £27,000
      • Contract Length: 12 months
      • Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024
      • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
      • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.
      • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

      Next Steps…

      • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th March (you will not be able to apply after this date).
      • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th March.
      • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April.
      • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.
