      Job Summary

      92NY in the City Camps and Athletics is excited to host two in-the-city summer camps for the 2025 season, running from June 30th to August 22nd.

      We are seeking passionate Gymnastics and Parkour Coach/Counselors to join our dynamic, high-energy program for children ages 5–12. If you have the skills, enthusiasm, and love for working with kids, we would be thrilled to have you on our team. Summer camp positions available, with potential for year-round opportunities for athletics instructors.

      Fantastic Gymastics Camp for Recreational and Competitive Team Students

      We are looking for experienced recreational and competitive coaches to join our full-and half-day gymnastics camp. Coaching opportunities are also available year-round! Camp activities include field trips, gymnastics event training, dance, sports, art, swimming, and more. Prior coaching experience and USA Gymnastics certification preferred.

      Parkour & Sports Adventure Camp

      We are seeking energetic, fun, and knowledgeable Parkour Staff and Coaches to join the 92NY Parkour Camp for summer 2025! Our parkour-focused camp hosts 35-40 kids each summer and runs for 8 weeks onsite at 92NY. Ideal candidates enjoy engaging with children ages 5-12, have a positive team-oriented mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced NYC camp environment. Perks include weekly camp trips to parkour training spots and facilities around NYC, mentorship from experienced parkour coaches to enhance your own coaching skills and the opportunity to create unforgettable memories for young campers.

      Parkour Coaches with prior coaching experience preferred.

      Job Responsibilities Include

      • Ensure the safety and supervision of children, including conducting frequent head counts.
      • Maintain clear communication with camp directors, colleagues, specialists, families, and children to ensure a cohesive camp experience.
      • Lead and deliver camp curriculum based on your area of specialization.
      • Attend and participate in the Camp Orientation prior to the start of camp.
      • Track camper attendance and promptly report any issues or incidents to the appropriate camp director.
      • Greet children and families with a positive attitude and provide a fun experience every day.

      Experience, Education, & Skills Desired

      • Counselors must be at least 15 years of age.

      • Coaches and Counselors must be current high school students or have a high school diploma.

      Work Environment & Requirements

      2+ years’ experience working with children (age range 5-12 for Gymnastics and Parkour).

      USAG, coaching certifications preferred.

      CPR certification required prior to the start of camp; training available.

      Per Diem Compensation Range

      $16.50 - $27.00/hour

      The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
