      Job title: Campaign Communications Manager

      Location: London (Stirling Square) or Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

      Please note – this is a job share role where you will be working 3.5 days per week

      Salary: Circa £46,000 pro-rated plus executive benefits

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Planning and delivery of a range of communications activity, including thought leadership, sponsorships, stakeholder partnerships and digital content, in support of our strategic communication campaign themes: making the case for defence, sustainability and technology
      • Developing core content, messaging and other assets that enable the wider communications team within Sectors, Lines of Business and/or Group to develop campaign-led storytelling
      • Playing a significant role in driving integrated planning and delivery across communication teams within Sectors, Lines of Business and/or Group to deliver impactful, consistent and well-coordinated communications
      • Working with other functions, such as the ESG, Culture and Transformation team, where appropriate, to identify opportunities to tell our story to current and prospective customers and/or employees
      • Leading external monitoring to inform communications planning
      • Using data to help develop stakeholder and audience insights and supporting the implementation of measurement programmes to improve campaign effectiveness

      Your skills and experiences:

      Essential

      • Industry experience working in communications with a proven background in planning, delivery and measurement/evaluation of communications strategies for defined target audiences – both internal and external
      • Strong stakeholder relationship building skills - building strong networks, influencing stakeholders providing guidance to senior leaders
      • Evidence of being a catalyst for change, proactively identifying solutions and driving new ideas

      • Sustainability and ESG knowledge

      The Communications team:

      You’ll be working within a small team at the heart of our communications function, helping to influence and deliver a new way of working, a key functional priority for coming years.

      The team has recently adopted a campaign-focused approach, providing the opportunity to plan and deliver collaboratively across the business to deliver integrated and impactful communications that shift the perception of BAE’s key stakeholders in relation to priority content themes.
