Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.
Community and Campus Outreach: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the local community and campus stakeholders at local TSTC campus and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
Employee Engagement Initiatives and Analysis: Plan and execute campus engagement initiatives to enhance local employee and student satisfaction and productivity at TSTC. Analyze campus engagement data and recommend improvements.
Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador for TSTC, representing and promoting the college. Uphold TSTC's core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity, contributing to TSTC's mission of placing more Texans in great-paying jobs through education, workforce training, and industry partnerships
Media and PowerPoint Presentation Creation: Create media materials, presentations, and reports on behalf of the Provost at TSTC. Ensure high-quality and effective communication through visual aids and presentations.
Various Communications on Behalf of the Provost: Draft, review, and edit various communications, including emails, memos, letters, and official documents on behalf of the Office of the Provost for TSTC in Waco. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in all written communications. Manage, develop content, generate, and distribute monthly local newsletter.

Collaborate with HR Effectiveness and Culture Enhancement Specialist to help facilitate organizational changes and respond to employee feedback
Collaborate with local student centric areas such as Career Services, Student Enrollment, and Student Residence Life to help facilitate organizational changes and respond to student feedback
Assist on special projects and assignments. May need to support local administrative needs as needed. Urgent requests may arise outside of regular working hours, and flexibility in offering support is expected
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Must be an articulate and persuasive communicator with strong interpersonal and listening skills Ability to draft professional communications, prepare reports, and deliver presentations.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines for smooth operations.
Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure privacy.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when managing budgets, preparing reports, coordinating events, and reviewing documents to maintain accuracy and uphold quality standards.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle unexpected situations with poise. Flexibility in adjusting schedules and accommodating shifting demands.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to proactively identify and resolve challenges. Resourcefulness and the ability to make sound decisions
Relationship Building: Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and community members. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate with diverse individuals and teams.
Experience: Experience in event planning and engagement. Associate degree preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite) essential. Familiarity with other relevant software tools is a plus.
Professionalism: High level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to providing excellent support.
Knowledge of Higher Education: Familiarity with the higher education industry, policies, and practices advantageous.

Job Description
As an Campus Engagement Specialist, you will plan, develop and implement initiatives to drive workforce and student engagement, implement a wide range of inclusion, belonging, and campus engagement initiatives that improve campus and organizational effectiveness and provide high-quality solutions for local employees and students. The Campus Engagement Specialist will be responsible for evolving and delivering the core practices of campus engagement work and contribute at a hands-on level to cultivate a positive culture. This position will collaborate and partner with the HR Effectiveness and Culture Enhancement Specialist to ensure local and statewide initiatives align for our campus teammates. This position will also collaborate and partner with local student centric areas such as Career Services, Student Enrollment, Student Residence Life, TSTC Events and other key internal and external partners to ensure all local and statewide initiatives align.Equal Opportunity Employer
