What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identifying cases according to CoC, CCR, SEER guidelines and regulations for entry into the database
- Maintaining and managing a computerized suspense system
- Assisting in the preparation of reports based on data requests
- Securing annual follow-up information on living patients
- Providing clerical support for department meetings and conferences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree in STEM field preferred
- Two years' experience in data input and management required
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) eligible preferred
- Ability to prioritize in a constantly changing environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Enrolled in or completion of NCRA Associate Degree Program or NCRA Accredited Certificate Program
- Oncology Data Specialist-Certified (ODS-C) preferred
- Completion of college-level Medical Terminology course preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Knowledge of database management and data processing
