      Job summary

      We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team providing administrative support to our Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Meetings for Hywel Dda.

      The successful candidate must be a confident individual, who is comfortable with communicating with other professionals within the Multidisciplinary team.

      Main duties of the job

      The delivery of cancer services is governed by the All Wales Cancer Standards that outline the organisational, diagnostic and treatment standards expected of all cancer site- specific MDTs. The core standards therefore define the core aspects of the service the Health Board should be providing to all cancer patients.

      The post holder is also recognised in the Cancer Standards as an essential component of the MDTs and by providing comprehensive administrative support will deliver an essential element for effective MDT working.

      Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.
