  Mars Petcare is looking for a Cannery Supply Driver at the Columbus, OH location. *Pay and benefit information below

  Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Royal Canin, Iams, Whiskas, Sheba pet food and Greenies and temptations treats.

  What is the required shift?

  3rd Shift: Monday- Friday 11pm- 7:30am

  Job Purpose:

  To fulfill and effectively execute responsibilities of a Cannery Supply Driver in accordance with inventory, production and safety policies.

  What are we looking for?

  Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Mechanical Aptitude

  Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum 12 hours in one shift).
  • Ability to work in hot, cold and wet environments.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate or degree in technical trade
  • Experience in an inventory capacity
  • Fork Lift experience
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing

  What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Supply all areas with packaging and other supplies as required.
  • Maintain inventory control through proper use of computer terminals and scanners.
  • Communicate with various operators and the Production Administrative Coordinator concerning inventories.
  • Assure that the sanitation levels for the area are properly maintained.
  • Perform relief duties as needed in the area.
  • Participate in area Visual Workplace and participate in the OHBA process.

  Total Rewards:

  • Hourly Rate: $19.43/HR
  • Shift Premium: $1.50/HR
