      Job Description:
      Applies knowledge and expertise of risk/regulatory programs, industry practices, and the business unit to one or more functions within the business group. Independently conducts assigned responsibilities within the context of the business unit enterprise-wide regulatory/operational risk program.

      The Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Specialist is a member of the CDFI Lending & Investing team, whose mission is to expand access to capital to finance affordable housing, small businesses and organizations providing health care, education, and social services in lower income neighborhoods and to historically underserved communities across the US.

      Responsibilities:

      • Support Relationship Managers in client marketing, client meetings and transaction proposals
      • Financial analysis, loan/investment underwriting and transaction recommendations
      • Portfolio management, including team presentations of client and credit trends
      • Industry research

      Skills and Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/ relevant working experience
      • Minimum of 1 year experience in the field or related industry, such as financial analysis, loan/investment underwriting and portfolio management

      • Successful completion of Bank of America MAP program
