- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or any related field. Five years’ experience in healthcare field may substitute for degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with healthcare administrative process (operations, scheduling, registration, EMR)
- Experience with managing complex interactions
- Previous experience with change management and process improvement
- Proven execution of excellent customer service skills.
- Experience translating clinical needs into successful processes and supporting system designs
- Understanding of Capacity Management workflows in ambulatory, surgical and inpatient settings
- Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Informatics, or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills: emotional intelligence, building team, developing employees, innovative process framework, challenge team members, create an environment of idea-sharing and open dialogue, cross department collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously execute process improvement
- Excellent interpersonal skills – listening, written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and apply critical thinking
- Demonstrates strong systems and technology aptitude. Includes knowledge of various systems (Microsoft Office suite, scheduling / registration electronic applications, EMR)

- Ability to clearly articulate issues and risks as well as ideas and solutions
1.0 FTE; Monday - Friday, business hours at the River Park Plaza location in St. Paul. This position will be a combination of both remote and on-site work.
This position serves in a critical leadership role in the management and delivery of enterprise capabilities for optimizing financial performance and customer satisfaction in a complex integrated healthcare enterprise.
It serves as a liaison between providers, information system leadership and clinical leadership. The position will support adoption and best practice use within the full spectrum of front-end revenue cycle optimization. This includes patient scheduling, preregistration/certification, eligibility verification, referral management, registration and identity verification.
This position builds positive working relationships with internal and external physicians and practices along with operational leadership to assist in increasing adoption of technology, use of automation and clinical practice standards. Works in a highly collaborative team environment across information systems, clinical, quality, nursing, revenue integrity, and other disciplines.
Key responsibilities include planning, creating, and implementing processes and ideas in collaboration with Capacity Management leadership. This position provides direct supervision to Capacity Management staff which includes but is not limited to Capacity Management Specialists, Scheduling Operations Specialists, HIM Specialists, and Records Specialists.
Collaborates with Information Systems to develop key performance indicators and pro-active business intelligence solutions to assess outcomes of work and physician and Capacity Management.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for this opportunity is $77,334 to $116,064 with a median salary of $96,699. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees.
