- Support all team members under the Capital Intelligence team, including Capital Introductions, Business Consulting and Content with a focus on the capital introductions component to the team.
- Working within project management, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM system
- Will work with members of the team to provide coverage of investors who are allocating to hedge and other alternative asset managers (family offices, E&F’s, pensions, consultants and fund of funds). The role will evolve as a primary coverage point for hedge funds and investors as well.
- Ownership and maintenance of presentation materials, reports, content pieces,
- Ability to work with a variety of lines of business across equities, banking and research, especially with the prime services and research sales teams.
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to understand client strategies and the different products and services internally
- Advising hedge fund clients on their capital raising initiatives which may include strategic positioning, product expansion and competitive intelligence
- Conducting statistical analysis of hedge fund performance data using various data vendors
- Supporting the execution of capital introduction conferences and client roadshows across the US
- Assisting in the research and data gathering efforts of the capital intelligence team to assist the business consulting services and strategic content efforts of the group.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, sharing of information and collaboration is essential for success
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA & Access Database skills
- Strong data manipulation and reporting skills
- Ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- An understanding of hedge fund strategies and the Prime Brokerage model would be useful.
- Series 7 and 63 will be required – does not need to already have these licenses yet
- Strong team player and understands the importance of teamwork
- Ability to multi-task and have a strong awareness of time management
- Strong communicator and presentation skills
- Confident in a client setting and client-facing role
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is essential as well as multi-tasking. Meeting deadlines, proactivity and being punctual with assignments is key
- Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
We are seeking an Analyst/Associate to join the Prime Services group, focused in supporting and working exclusively with the Capital Introductions Teams. The Capital Introductions Team facilitates the efficient flow of capital from a global base of institutional investors to clients. The candidate in this role serves as a trusted advisor to established and nascent stage hedge fund portfolio managers. In this capacity, the candidate will provide strategic advice on capital formation, business structure and fund terms. This role combines aspects of marketing, investment management, consulting and business development. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and diligent self-starter to join our Capital Intelligence team. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop a career within Capital Introduction.
