  This position supports all analytic efforts of the company’s efforts in analyzing capital markets, assisting the correspondent bulk mandatory desk, management report development, working with several departments and managing projects. The position also supports business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality, and efficiency.

  
  Responsibilities
  
  

  -Prepare reports (data mining, build reports, report formatting and analysis) and dashboards to support various departments
  -Support correspondent mandatory desk
  -Extract existing data to manipulate/calculate/format into presentable reports, charts and graphs.
  -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and events.
  -Perform ad hoc analytical requests and research projects for internal parties.
  -Special projects as assigned by management.

  
  Qualifications
  
  

  -Degree in Finance, Econ, Financial Engineering

  -Strong Excel skills

  -SQL skills a plus/is preferred

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle, touch or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms. The employee is rarely required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
