- Capital Planning: Construct financial models for capital planning, real estate, deferred maintenance, and facilities cost analysis and multi-year budgets to assess investment needs, evaluate potential risks, optimize resource allocation, and support informed decision-making processes.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop accurate financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, creating detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in data operations.
- Technical Expertise: Design and execute solutions using RPA, VBA, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, and other statistical tools to streamline data management and reporting processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols and regulatory standards while maintaining confidentiality in all data-related activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive business decisions. Communicate findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and design ad hoc reports for divisional and finance management.
- Support other divisions and colleagues as needed.

- Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and process automation within a finance and operations environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism), VBA programming, and advanced Excel functions. Familiarity with other financial analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and ERP systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of facilities operations, real estate and industry challenges.
- Capital Planning: Experience developing and monitoring multi-year capital and deferred maintenance plans
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and concisely.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and technologies. Eagerness to learn and apply new skills and tools.
- Advanced degree
- Experience in a not-for-profit sector
- Certification in RPA tools and methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint (e.g., board and executive presentations)
- Experience with other analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Experience using Workday ERP (esp. Finance, Human Capital, and Adaptive Planning)
- Project management skills and experience
- Systematic and logical approach to building financial models
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

About the Position
The Financial and Operations Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Planning Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires expertise in data collection, analysis, and visualization, including the creation of reports and dashboards, and the ability to interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights. Responsibilities include leveraging tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to identify areas for improvement and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to supporting strategic decision-making that promotes long-term financial growth and stability.
