      RK&K is hiring a Capital Program Technician. The position is a full-time on-site position with the Maryland Transit Administration. The position supports the MTA in the following areas:

      • Project development
      • Environmental planning
      • Public engagement
      • Financial management and reporting
      • Document control
      • Office administration

      Specific duties may include the following:

      • Help manage project budget
      • Setting and managing the project schedules and calendars
      • Attend meetings, prepare meeting summaries, and track follow-ups
      • Assist in the preparation of regular project reports and updates
      • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases
      • Maintain project files
      • Prepare presentations
      • Review outgoing documents for accuracy and clarity
      • Review incoming correspondence, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarize and/or distribute to appropriate staff
      • Conduct project research
      • Train and/or supervise other staff
      • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
      • Answer and direct phone calls
      • Maintain contact lists
      • Manage the project office, including development and implementation of procedures
      • Make travel arrangements
      • Develop and submit expense reports
      • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

      In-Office Presence

      The position is required to work from a downtown Baltimore project office at least three days per week with five-day availability to attend scheduled meetings.
