      The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Site Manager. The role of the Site Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of supervision and program leadership of all Officers in his/her assigned locations for the ICE San Antonio transportation and stationary/remote guarding services. The Site Manager is responsible for all matters concerning oversight of dispatch operations. This position will supervise Site Supervisors as well as overseeing the missions/tasks ensuring they are started and completed in a timely manner. The Site Manager serves as a liaison between G4S Secure Solutions USA and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) first line supervision and management team and is responsible for ensuring that the desired level and quality of security services are provided and that compliance with all ICE issued directives and state laws is maintained.

      Specific Duties and Essential Functions

      • Directly supervise and evaluate supervisors; assign specific tasking and projects for completion to the supervisors; provide periodic verbal and/or performance evaluations of each supervisor and officers to the Operations Manager; interface with ICE supervisors, G4S’ Operations Manager, Fleet Manager, and Project Manager; clearly articulate directives, policies, and procedures to subordinate
      • Liaison with ICE Shift (1st level) and Site (2nd level) supervisors; frequent meetings with ICE supervisors concerning operational and personnel issues
      • Training management; ensure that project training program is compliant with G4S policy and procedures, client contract requirements, and state/local regulations
      • Assist with reviews/audits of operational programs; assist with reviews of operational programs to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), state, federal and G4S policies and procedures
      • Reporting; assist in providing and analyzing daily/weekly/monthly status reports to the Operations Manager and/or Program Manager as directed
      • Safety management; ensure safety practices are in place at work sites; locally manage and conduct program management of all safety related matters to include a driver safety program, blood borne pathogen, and airborne particulates awareness and safety training

      Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

      • High school diploma or equivalent

      Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

      • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a law enforcement officer or military policeman or security officer engaged in functions related to detaining civil, administrative detainees with experience working in DHS environments
      • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years driving experience
      • Demonstrated successful prior supervisory/management experience in a security environment

      Other

      • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
      • Must be a citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States
      • Must be able to read, understand, and comprehend legal regulatory rulings and guidance
      • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
      • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
      • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

      Physical Requirements and Environment

      Environment: Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected

      Major activity: Working on PC, walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

      Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting, and limited stretching and reaching
