      We are looking for hard-working, empathetic guards to join our our friendly security services team here at Broomfield Hospital and help us continue providing all our staff, visitors and most importantly our patients a safe and welcoming environment to get better in.

      This position is perfect for individuals who are keen to work on the frontline, are passionate about security and possess strong interpersonal skills.

      The appointed application will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all of our patients, visitors, and staff. May close early due to number of applications.

      Main duties of the job

      The Security / Parking Team provide a comprehensive car park and security service to the Hospital and Satellite sites in all weather and conditions.

      In this front line service you will need to be polite, helpful, tactful but firm and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

      If successful, you will have a great deal of contact with staff, visitors and members of the public, directing drivers to car parking spaces, clearing entrances for fire calls, responding to all security issues and answering general enquiries from our patients and visitors; so, a multitask approach is essential.
