What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead analysis of electricity markets and develop renewable electricity buying strategies
- Negotiate power purchase agreements and utility energy service contracts
- Collaborate with government partners to procure 100% carbon-free electricity
- Engage with private sector stakeholders and utilities on energy resilience initiatives
- Support planning and management of project deliverables while ensuring timely results

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field and 8+ years of experience (or a Master's and 6+ years of experience)
- Experience in energy and sustainability, particularly in renewable energy procurement
- Proficiency in assessing or developing power purchase agreements and energy service contracts
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences
- U.S. Citizenship required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Department of Defense installation power procurement activities
- Understanding of onsite generation and retail energy markets
- Skills in drafting and negotiating contracts with government agencies and utilities
- Familiarity with U.S. Federal agency sustainability policies for carbon-free electricity
- Financial risk assessment and modeling capabilities
