      Purpose Statement

      1. Administration of card production and maintenance

      • Action card reports, queries and tracing of daily and monthly card production and distribution within agreed SLA turnaround times
      • Keep abreast of file generation and production and ensure that the relevant Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are aligned at all times.
      • Monitor errors relating to card embossing/personalization to ensure they are appropriately corrected and escalate to Team Leader where required to address quality issues.
      • Action the daily and monthly card reports to ensure that cards are produced and distributed within the agreed turnaround times
      • Ensure that the electronic card reports are stored accordingly.
      • Escalate unresolved exceptions to Team Leader/Manager after proper investigation has been performed.
      • Check card renewal process to ensure that process has no anomalies.
      • Action card tracing queries received from Call Centre and Business
      • Liaise with the various stakeholders for the embossing and tracing of cards.

      Minimum:

      • 1 years’ experience in banking and 1 – 2 years’ experience in a card environment
      • Liaising and dealing with 3rd party service providers
      • Coping with repetitive work and working within SLAs

      Minimum:

      • Operational risk principles
      • Quality checking and control
      • Understanding of Visa and MasterCard rules and regulations
      • Code of Banking Practice
      • FICA and Money Laundering Act
      • General office systems
      • Banking environment (i.e., FICA, NCA etc.)

      Ideal:

      • Knowledge and understanding of card personalisation technology
      • Internal credit risk manual
      • To provide operational support for the card business by assisting with support for all card activities, including the distribution and tracking of all cards with 3rd Party Service Providers, thereby ensuring efficient and effective customer service delivery.
