      The Card Production Technician will produce identity documents and display great attention to detail and a sound of understanding of what makes a good product. Identifies, receives, collects, secures, and maintains audit controls and chain-of-custody for production. Has the ability to identify issues in the product and performs various tests on the product to ensure quality products are delivered on time.
      1. Perform exceptional attention to detail and keen sense of judgement.
      2. Create and maintain inventory and maintenance of all consumables and program equipment.
      3. Prepare purchase requisitions.
      4. Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance and to include all relevant documentation.
      5. Work cooperatively and effectively with all clients/stake holders.
      6. Prepare and maintain monthly reports on operations.
      7. Coordinate and ensure delivery times, dates, and special instructions are met for the transmittal of card production.
      8. Maintain effective communication with clients/stake holders to identify and ensure agreement compliance.
      9. Prepare, package, mail and track product and program items.
      10. Monitor and ensure safeguards controls are enforced to protect all program materials and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
      11. Establish and maintain regular contact with the Program Manager for weekly client updates.
      12. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by management.
      Knowledge of:
      • Report preparation techniques.
      • Customer service principles.
      • Ability to work under minimal or no supervision.
      • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
      • Applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
      • Apply office and accounting principles and practices.
      • Sensitivity to Native American culture, customs, resources, traditions and/or willingness to learn.
      Skills and Abilities:
      • Interpret and apply procedures, policies, rules, regulations and other directives.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, clients/stakeholders, and management.
      • Ability to sufficiently exchange or convey information and receive verbal and written work instructions;
      • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks;
      • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
      • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
      • Maintain confidential files and records;
      • Physical ability to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including computer regularly and routinely with keyboard, telephone, scanner, postage meter, and printer and/or copy machine;

      High School Diploma or GED, plus two (2) years of experience in data entry or related field
      AND
      • Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
      Special Requirements:
      • Must have a current Homeland Security Background Clearance or be able to obtain a Homeland Security Background Clearance within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a Homeland Security Background Clearance will result in removal from this position.
      • Must pass a background check and drug test; fingerprinting requirement determined by funding and sensitivity of the position.
      • Must be fluent in English writing and speaking.
