      Responsibilities

      POSITION SUMMARY:

      Navigates patients scheduled for Calcium Scoring CT exams to radiology department and outpatient laboratory, provides information on how to retrieve results from patient portal, provides follow up phone calls to review results with patients. Ensures follow up consultation with specialists and provides education and support as needed. . Participates in maintenance of the program statistical database.

      Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups. Performs other related duties as required. This position summary contains the most relevant duties and responsibilities and does not exclude other assignments not mentioned.


      Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      1. Must have and maintain current BLS certification

      2. Must possess strong knowledge of healthcare

      3. Demonstrates competency and professionalism in verbal and written communication.

      4. Requires some flexibility with work schedule subject to changing priorities and demands.

      5. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

      EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

      1. LVN/tech/PCTcurrently licensed in the State of Texas, or part of a compact state license, or has a valid temporary LVN license for the State of Texas while waiting to receive the permanent license.

      2. High School diploma, GED, or Higher Education required.

      3. LVN, tech, PCT will have BLS upon hire (and maintain through employment) Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, or ARC for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
